Deep wet extraction removes stains, dust and everyday dirt from carpet fibres — more effectively than regular vacuuming.
A carpet cleaning service often costs €50–€120 depending on size, while a Kärcher Puzzi 8/1 rental starts from €22/day — and you can clean several carpets in one rental period. Wet extraction reaches dirt that has settled deep in the carpet backing, which dry vacuuming alone can't remove.

Always start with thorough dry vacuuming using a regular vacuum cleaner. This removes surface dust, sand and dirt that would otherwise mix with the cleaning solution during wet cleaning and could leave a streaky result.
Visible stains (wine, coffee, pet accidents) should be treated with a suitable stain remover before the general clean. Let the product sit for a few minutes, then continue with the Kärcher Puzzi 8/1 over the whole surface.
Several slow, overlapping passes give a better result than one quick pass. On the first pass, spray and work in the solution; on the second and third, focus on suction only, without adding more liquid.
Ensure good air circulation during and after cleaning — open windows or use fans. Carpets typically dry within 6–12 hours, but thicker models can take up to 24 hours.
Natural-fibre carpets (wool, silk, jute, sisal) require extra caution — they can shrink, lose their shape or fade under excess moisture. Always test in a hidden spot first. For valuable or antique carpets, we recommend a professional cleaning service rather than self-service wet extraction.
