After wet extraction cleaning with the Kärcher Puzzi 8/1, a sofa or carpet usually takes 4–24 hours to dry, depending on fabric thickness and room ventilation. An air mover speeds up this process by creating constant airflow over the wet surface — cutting drying time and reducing the risk of an unpleasant damp smell.
An air mover speeds up surface drying by circulating air, but it doesn't remove moisture from the room. If the room has generally elevated humidity (for example, after a large cleaning job or renovation), the best result comes from combining it with a dehumidifier.
The same principle applies to car interior fabric and mattresses — after cleaning with the Puzzi, the air mover speeds up drying and reduces the time the surface is unusable. A mattress usually dries in 12–24 hours without additional drying, but with an air mover this time can be cut considerably.
